Description

Original vintage calendar lithograph, “Retriever’s Reward,” print number 8424. Marked “Litho in U.S.A.” with an A. Fox copyright line in the lower right corner, dated 1950s.
Classic upland hunting scene — a hunter in a red shirt and cap resting in a golden field, sharing a moment with his English Setter. Shotgun and a brace of pheasants on the log beside him. Rich, saturated color typical of mid-century calendar art.
Condition: Good vintage condition with honest wear. A diagonal crease runs through the upper right sky area, with light surface wrinkling in the same region. Minor edge wear and softness at the corners. No tears, no tape, no writing. Colors remain strong. Please see all photos — they are part of the description.
Ships flat between rigid cardboard in a photo mailer, or rolled in a tube if you prefer. Message me before purchase if you want it rolled.
